A.S. in Early Childhood Education

The A.S. degree prepares students for Lead Teacher certification and/or transfer to a non-licensure program in Early Childhood Education or a related field. The program is NAEYC Accredited and addresses all NAEYC Standards and EEC Comptencies.

Liberal Arts (A.A.) in Early Childhood Education

The A.A. program prepares students for transfer to a teacher licensure program for PreK-Grade 2. The program is NAEYC Accredited and addresses all NAEYC Standards and EEC Comptencies.

Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education - Birth to 8 Concentration (Non-Licensure)

This Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a Birth - 8 (B-8) Concentration for early educators will enable students to develop skills and competencies to foster the growth and development of young children, infancy to 8 years.

M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education (Professional Licensure)

This program is designed to support fully licensed teachers who are pursuing graduate study.

M.Ed. Early Childhood Education PreK-2 (Initial Licensure)

This degree program support students who have a Bachelor degree and are seeking initial licensure.

Early Childhood Education (PreK-2) Initial Teacher Licensure

Early Childhood Education (PreK-2) Initial Teacher Licensure (with 2nd major in Interdisciplinary Studies IDIS).  This is a four-year degree for classroom teachers with student teaching and MTEL passage required.

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education

College: 

The program will prepare you to be an Early Education and Care approved teacher or director in an early childhood center upon graduation. Students will complete a practicum in a center with excellent and diverse programs.

Master of Education

The Master of Education program provides students, who have completed a Bachelor degree, the opportunity to explore teacher preparation (licensure or non-licensure) in:

Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Human Service

The Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Human Service provides students with a broad based and interdisciplinary education focused on the preparation of individuals who seek a career in a wide variety of professional settings in education, human services, social services, and related fields
