Master of Arts in Teaching

College: 

The M.A.T. program is designed for students with four years of liberal arts or sciences education. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a master's degree and an Initial Massachusetts state license as an educator. 

Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education

College: 

The early childhood program at Elms College prepares you to teach students from pre-kindergarten through grade two.

Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies: ECE

The early childhood education program prepares students to teach in public and private elementary schools pre-K through grade 2 to young children with and without disabilities.

Masters in Education: Early Childhood Education

At the graduate level, master’s degrees have been especially designed for new and experienced teachers. Licensure at the initial level is a prerequisite for entry into many programs in the graduate program group.

Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education (PreK-2)

The Bachelor of Science in Education major with licensure and licensure only programs are designed to prepare outstanding teacher candidates at the Massachusetts initial licensure level. You may choose to major in Education (with licensure) or choose the licensure only program.

Masters in Child Study and Early Education

College: 

The Child Study and Early Education concentration is designed to provide students with a broad overview of the educational and developmental needs of young children in early education and care settings and their families.

Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education

College: 

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) concentration leading to a Bachelor’s Degree is designed to prepare individuals to work in a variety of early education settings.

Associates of Science in Early Childhood Education

This course of study is designed to meet the ever-expanding needs for trained personnel in the field of early learning and childcare.

Associates of Science in Early Childhood Career Option

This program is designed for those students interested in teaching in a community-based, group day care setting.
